The goal of #23 - pick 3 things I will continue to use:

1) I will continue to use photobucket in lieu of flicker. I like looking for animations, sayings, etc to use on my blogs...webpages etc.
2) I will play with and use wetpaint wiki in creating new blogs, and for looking up things.
3) Youtube has been a constant source of amusement for the last six months or so. My friends and I use it to find videos to leave on each others walls in facebook.

This has been a great experience and am glad that I have had the chance to learn all these new things, while improving on some skills I had a basic knowledge in.

The most important thing I come away with, if you want to learn how to do something, the knowledge is out there somewhere.....

I went to the wetpaint wiki site. They have so much more on that one then the one we are using. I checked out the scrapbooking section because I am currently doing both of my childrens baby books into scrapbooks.
I think this site would be great as a reference tool, and it lets you play with what is on there.

After reading a couple articles of how this will affect us, is that it is a process that has been going on for the past couple years. It will enable staff and customers to communicate without being face to face using the blogs, and other technology.

this would be handy for those that do not have the program word or just want more options while creating documents...I will have to play more with this at home and see what I can all discover

I spent the better part of the weekend playing with this off and on, and I must admit ....it's addicting.....there are so many different aspects of things that can be done with the tools provided its amazing.....I would say that this is the most favorite part of the 2.0 learning experience.

tags

I've used tags in photobucket with some success...by clicking on tags you are not always going to find what you are really looking for and will need to backtrack. So, in some ways they are great and in others time consuming.

I've used this in the past and it is great for when you need to access a webpage tagged as a fav on my home computer ...too bad I'm miles from home and needed access...then on staff day I found out about this site....

technology and time

Who would have thought that I would be doing the things that I can do on the computer say one year ago....I have learned how to clip, crop, change a photo and the possiblities are endless....if only the time was just as endless that I could spend doing these things..

the joys of christmas.......the cute puppy chasing the kitty thru the living room....past your legs and up the tree....the puppy barks...the cat is scrambling....the tree is back on the floor...as I said...the joys of christmas....

its a beautiful day....too bad I'm stuck inside, while the leaves on my lawn grow deeper and deeper.....I'm hoping for a good wind.....so I can sit outside and enjoy tomorrow without having to rake....lol
